In-Home Services

You have options when it comes to where your child receives speech-language therapy. Services delivered in your home offer unique benefits! In-home therapy saves you time, money, and the stress of loading the kids into the car. When a therapist comes to you, it can also make it easier for your child to “generalize” their new skills, or use their new skills in many different ways. Because in-home therapists may use the toys you already have in your home, this kind of therapy can also make it easier for you to keep the therapy going after your speech-language pathologist (SLP) has left.

Wary about having a stranger in your home? Home visits can feel uncomfortable at first, and this is totally normal. With weekly visits, your SLP won’t feel like a stranger for long. We love building lasting relationships with our families. Our therapists travel to lots of homes and we’re not there to judge. Our main goal is to improve your ability to help your child improve their language skills and that’s what we focus on.
